Telesofia Medical Ltd. ("Telesofia", "we" or "us") respects the privacy of the users ("User" or "you") of its Site(s) at and (as such terms are defined in detailed in our Terms of Use at and (the "TOU"), and is fully committed to protect the personal information that its Users share with it. We believe that you have a right to know our practices regarding the information we may collect and use when you use our Sites and/or our Services (as such terms are defined in our TOU).

Capitalized terms which are not defined herein, shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the TOU, which this Privacy Policy is incorporated thereto by reference.



2. Which information we may collect on our Users?

We may collect two types of data and information from our Users:

a. The first type of information is non-identifiable and anonymous information ("Non-personal Information"). We are not aware of the identity of the User from which we have collected the Non-personal Information. Non-Personal Information is any unconcealed information which is available to us while Users are using the Site. Non-personal Information which is being gathered consists of technical information and behavioral information, and may contain, among other things, type of operating system, type of browser, screen resolution, browser and keyboard language, User's 'click stream' on our Site, the activities of the User on our Site, etc.

b. The second type of information is individually identifiable information ("Personal Information"). This information may identify an individual or may be of a private and/or sensitive nature.

  • Users of the Site automatically provide their IP address mainly for geolocation and security purposes as further detailed below.
  • Users who are interested in using our Patient Services via the Site can choose to stay anonymous.
  • However, Users who are interested in using our Developer Services must register and open an Account and provide details via the registration form of the Site, i.e. first name, last name, e-mail address and profession (and in the event that the User request API Services he/she needs to provide us also with information regarding the organization which they are affiliated with and their phone number). Users who are interested in using our Developer Services may provide us with patients' general demographic information rather than specific identifiable information in order to offer personalized Videos. We do not collect any of the User's website's end-user's Personal Information (including but not limited to any specific identifiable medical information).
  • Users of our Site who wish to contact us using the contact means available on our Site are required to provide us with their name and e-mail address.

For avoidance of doubt, any Non-Personal Information connected or linked to any Personal Information shall be deemed a Personal Information as long as such connection or linkage exists.

We do not collect any Personal Information from you or related to you without your approval, which is obtained, inter alia, through your active acceptance to the TOU and the Privacy Policy.

3. How Do We Collect Information on Our Users?

There are two main methods we use:

a. We collect Non-Personal Information through your use of the Site. In other words, when you are using the Site we are aware of it and may gather, collect and record the information relating to such usage, either independently or through the help of third-party service providers as detailed below.

b. We collect Personal Information which you provide us voluntarily. In addition to the IP address which is collected automatically as detailed above, we collect Personal Information when you register and open an Account and/or when you wish to contact us using the contact means available on our Site. We store the Personal Information either independently or through the help of third-party service providers as detailed below.

4. What are the Purposes of the Collection of Information?

Non-personal Information is collected in order to:

  • Create aggregated statistical data for research purposes and customization and improvement of the Site and/or Services.

Personal Information is collected in order to:

  • Operate the Services, including by better personalize and optimize the experience of the Users and as applicable their website's end users.
  • Be able to contact Users for the purpose of providing them with technical assistance and support and collect feedback regarding the Service.
  • Reply to your online queries made through the Site.
  • Determine general geolocation information (i.e., country) from which the User's computer is connected to the Internet in order for us to know the general location of our Site's Users as well as in order to safeguard our Site.

5. Sharing Information with Third Parties

Telesofia will not share any Personal Information it collects with any third party, other than in the following cases: (a) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena or governmental request; (b) to enforce this Privacy Policy and/or the TOU, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; (d) to respond to User's support requests; (e) respond to claims that any content available on the Site violates the rights of third-parties; (f) to respond to claims that contact information (e.g. name, e-mail address, etc.) of a third-party had been posted or transmitted without their consent or as a form of harassment; (g) to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Telesofia, its Users, or the general public; (h) when Telesofia is undergoing any change in control, including by means of merger, acquisition or purchase of all or substantially all of its assets; (i) to collect, hold and/or manage your Personal Information through Telesofia's third party service providers (for example, Amazon cloud services, MailChimp newsletter delivery service if you subscribe to such service), as reasonable for business purposes, which may be located in a country that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction; or (j) pursuant to your explicit approval prior to the disclosure.

For avoidance of doubt, Telesofia may transfer and disclose Non-personal Information to third parties at its own discretion.

6. Minors

To use our Site and/or Services you must be over the age of eighteen (18). Therefore, Telesofia does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of eighteen (18) and does not wish to do so. In the event that it comes to our knowledge that a person under the age of eighteen (18) is using our Site and/or Services, we reserve the right to prohibit and block such User from accessing our Site and will make all efforts to promptly delete any Personal Information.

7. Links to Third Party Websites

Certain links provided herein permit you to leave this Site and enter non-Telesofia World Wide Web sites or resources. Those linked sites are provided solely as a convenience to you. These linked sites are not under the control of Telesofia and it is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content advertising, products or other information on or available from such linked sites or any link contained in a linked site. Telesofia reserves the right to terminate any link at any time. You further acknowledge and agree that Telesofia shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such linked sites or resource. Most of such linked sites provide legal documents, including terms of use and privacy policy, governing the use of such sites. It is always advisable to read such documents carefully before using those sites.

8. Modification or Deleting Personal Information

If for any reason you wish to update, modify or delete your Personal Information you may contact us using one of the contact means available on our Site and we will make reasonable efforts to accomplish your request pursuant to any applicable privacy laws. Note that unless you instruct us otherwise we may retain your Personal Information for a period of ninety (90) days.

9. Security

We take a great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and our Users' Personal Information. The Personal Information is hosted on our authorized third party service providers which provide advanced security features. Telesofia employs industry standard procedures and policies to ensure the safety of its Users’ Personal Information, and prevent unauthorized use of any such information. However, we do not guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

10. Third Party Software

While using the Site we may be using third party software, in order to collect, store and/or process the information detailed herein. Please note that when you subscribe to such services your information is transferred and processed by MailChimp according to their privacy policy. If you do not agree to such transfer of information please do not register to our newsletter service or any other service provided to you via email. If you have registered to our newsletter and then changed your mind about receiving it, you can always easily unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of the email you receive.

11. Cookies

When you access the Site or use the Service, we may use industry-wide technologies such as "cookies" (or similar technologies), which store certain information on your computer ("Local Storage") and which will allow us to enable automatic activation of certain features, and improve your Service experience.. It is easy to prohibit the Local Storage. Most browsers will allow you to erase cookies from your computer's hard drive, block acceptance of cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Third-party cookies usually store only a Non-personal Information, such as the web pages you have visited, the duration of your browsing, etc.

12. How We Work with Analytics Providers

We may use from time to time third-party analytics providers such as Google Analytics. Analytics providers are third-party companies that collect information when people use the Site and Services. These companies use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to keep track of what content or ads users view, how much time they spend on different pages, and how they arrived on a particular page. 13. European Union Members - International Transfer of Data

Our service is international in scope. By using the Telesofia services you consent to your information being sent and processed in other jurisdictions outside the European Union and European Economic Area, including the United States where there may be less stringent data protection laws.

14. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The terms of this Privacy Policy will govern the use of the Site and any information collected therein. Telesofia reserves the right to change this policy at any time, so please re-visit this page frequently. We will provide notice of substantial changes of this policy on the homepage of the Site and/or we will send you an e-mail regarding such changes to the e-mail address that you provided us with, if applicable. Such substantial changes will take effect seven (7) days after such notice was provided on our Site or sent by email (if applicable). Otherwise, all other changes to this Privacy Policy are effective as of the stated "Last Revised" date and your continued use of the Site after the Last Revised date will constitute acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, those changes.
